A wonderful singer whose recording career, sadly, lasted for just six years, Billie Poole (1929 2005) was an exceptional performer who excelled in both jazz and blues. Presented here is Billie Pool's second and, sadly, last album, Confessin' the Blues, on which she sings with the support of an all star small group consisting of the Junior Mance Trio plus guitarist
