From The Roots: Limited Yellow & Transluscent Green Marbled Vinyl LP BirdPen My Old PalFrom The Roots is the fourth studio album by one of the best known ska and rocksteady vocal groups, The Maytals. The group was founded in 1962 by Toots Hibbert, Henry Raleigh Gordon, and Nathaniel Jerry Mathias. They helped popularizing reggae music during the Sixties and were even credited in the etymology of the word Reggae in the Oxford English Dictionary, as a result of being the first to use the word Reggae in their 1968 single Do They Reggay.
