Tech's double threaded wheel studs are made of extremely high strength steel; the threads are obtained by stabilised rolling (a specific system to avoid fatigue cracks). They are combined with steel wheel nuts machined from billet and copper plated to optimise screwing onto the studs even at the high temperatures resulting from prolonged use of the brakes in racing.
