Green, red, and black inks were used for this piece. Printing company Sterling, Campbell & Albright of Greensboro was formed at the beginning of the Civil War. They sent a Frenchman to England to obtain stereotypes and the equipment was sent to North Carolina on a Confederate blockade runner named the Advance. Paper was obtained from several North
