this lovely Cycad needs plenty of warmth to give new growth but is nevertheless more cold hardy than many (just be sure to water it less in cold periods)

It requires some support to climb on. Mature, well supported plants can grow to 3 5m. Needs protection from cooler weather but can handle hot temps up to 40 degrees. Avoid overwatering, this is key. Blooms appear overnight as require nocturnal pollination. Fruit is red skinned with luminous, red, sweet tasting pulp with small, black seeds.
