Heavy blooms of fragrant, vibrant red flowers with large raised dark cones begin in early summer continue until the first frost. Thrives in full sun and well drained soils. The flowers attract butterflies and bees, and spent stems will stay erect and attract birds if not removed. Drought tolerant.
