The flat scale like leaves are rich green that develop golden tips where the sun reaches, and turns golden bronze in winter with a green center. Its small cones are green brown (female) or orange brown (male) depending on gender. Prefers full sun and moist well drained soil. Nite Light has improved sun and winter burn resistance.
