antique Samson Shwayder Trunk Mfg Co suitcase copper 125 inch 81This is an early Samsonite suitcase. The antique Samson luggage with the Shwayder Trunk Mfg Co label dates the luggage from 1916 1931. It is a large black case with leather reinforced corners and silver tone metal hardware. The interior has a blue and red lining. Samson luggage were high quality high end trunks that promoted how strong they were with a photo of the 5 Shwayder brothers standing atop a suitcase (that can be seen on their logo).
