These green yellow fruits with a pink blush often earn russet patches at the stem and crisp and firm white flesh. When fresh the apples have a sharp, subtly sweet and tart flavor with notes of pear and honey, which will mellow in storage to a sweeter, mild tangy flavor with caramel undertones. Grows best with full sun and rich well drained soils.
