1960s Original French Poster, Blancheur Persil, Lave Plus Blanc Affiche de voyage over the yearsDate: 1960s Size: 16 x 10. 5 inches Artist: Unknown This original 1950s French poster advertises a brand of cleaning products called Persil, a company that dates all the way back to 1907. Its name is derived from two of its original ingredients, sodium perborate and sodium silicate and is notable because it was the first commercially available "self activated" laundry detergent. Wonderful vintage typography poster which would be perfect for a laundry
